This Privacy Policy explains how 1st Advantage Mortgage Broker LLC (doing business as 1st Advantage Mortgage, "we," "us" or "our") handles information collected through carolinadscrloans.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by 1st Advantage Mortgage. This policy supplements our company privacy notice at https://firstadvantagemortgage.com/privacy-policy/, which also applies to the Site and to any loan application you submit. Nonpublic personal information provided in connection with a loan application is also governed by our Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) privacy notice, which controls if it conflicts with this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you submit the quote request form or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the property location, price or value, expected rent, credit score range, down payment, loan purpose and any notes you add.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring website, through server logs and analytics tools if enabled.
- Calculator inputs. The DSCR calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type into it are not sent to us or stored unless you include them in a form submission.
Please do not enter Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or similar sensitive data in the quote request form. We will request that information through a secure application process if you apply for a loan.

- To compare loan options for your scenario and, if you proceed, to originate and process a loan
- To operate, secure and improve the Site
- To send marketing communications that you have agreed to receive, and to honor your opt-outs

How the quote form is delivered
Quote requests are delivered to our team by email through a third-party form service (FormSubmit). That service processes the information you submit in order to deliver it to us. Please review its own privacy policy for details.
Who we share information with
We may share information with lenders, investors and settlement service providers as needed to evaluate or close your loan; with service providers that perform services for us, such as loan origination, communications, e-signature and analytics vendors, who must protect it; as required by law or legal process; and in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.
Calls and text messages
If you check the contact consent box, you agree to be contacted by 1st Advantage Mortgage about your inquiry by phone or email. If you separately check the text message consent box, you agree to receive text messages from 1st Advantage Mortgage about loan updates, appointment reminders, rate and refinance offers, and customer service at the number provided. Consent is not required to apply for a loan or to use this website, and it is not a condition of any purchase or loan. Mobile information and text opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Cookies and analytics
The Site is built to work without advertising cookies. If we enable analytics in the future, we will use it to understand Site use, and you can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track signals, and where required by law we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax and regulatory retention requirements. Mortgage loan records are generally retained for several years, as described in our company privacy notice.
Security
We use organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and contact us to access, correct or delete information, subject to applicable law and exemptions, including those for information covered by GLBA and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
